Angela and Carl visiting

Going back a few weeks here, but as you will see from the other posts, I have been away. Over Easter Angela and Carl came to stay and helped us explore the culinary delights that oxford has to offer.

We went to Blenheim Palace, on a beautiful warm sunny day, to enjoy the delightful biographical display on Winston Churchill, sponsored by Hallmark and highlighting the art work that Churchill himself had published on their greeting cards. A key moment in any political figure's life. Gallipoli barely rated a mention.

We brunched at Jamie Oliver's Italian (the breakfasts are pure essex) and St Mary's. We ate pies and cheeses from the covered markets. And we went out for dinner at the Nut Tree Inn, our local Michelin starred restaurant, with some of the other Oxford aussies.

And of course there was guitar hero...
