More meanderings

While England spent the long weekend cold and wet, Adam and I enjoyed five days in the warm sunshine in Paris. We were reasonably busy the first few days. We went to the zoo in the Bois the Vincennes, avoiding the large concrete mountain. We went to the menagerie at the Jardins des Plantes, and then took the Batobus up to the Eiffel tower to join the crowds on the Champ de Mars soaking up the sun. And generally wandered around.

But for the last few nights, we stayed in a hotel with pool, so we spent a lot less time out and about. But we did take a wander to the markets at Place Monge to pick up some cheese and foie gras to bring back, and we caught a mime show in the Jardins du Luxembourg.
