The premiership is back. So there are now 40 odd hours of football related television on a weekend, starting with a Bundesliga game on Friday night, previews and reviews in the mornings, English games at lunch time through to the early evening, followed by repeats of the games and more reviews and analysis. ahhhh. and that is before the Spanish league starts up again with their late night games.
so we had a quiet home body weekend with no news to report. we had a visit to the farmers market (no goat cheese man, very disappointing) and did gardening, house work etc. Dinner on saturday was jambalaya with beetroot and pear salad, and roast veg (adam is now a big fan of roasted fennel). I've taken to exploring our local area on foot (this is me only, not adam). The highlights of this week's walk were a wander through our local allotments (there are so many vegetables which i have never seen actually on the plant before) and parsonage lane in East Hagbourne, which is a strange yet beautiful cement path that runs up the middle of a stream with a beautiful old stone house right on the edge of the stream, complete with it's own little bridge. i'll have to start taking my camera.
