Limping disaster

I seem to have become suddenly accident prone. Following on from last weeks cut, this week I burnt my finger cooking Friday night dinner (baked salmon with fennel, jamie oliver carrots and balsamic mushrooms). Then I played football on Saturday morning, and on top of the usual aches and pains and bruises, a bad tackle left me with a twisted ankle so I went in goals and promptly sprained a finger. Yet still managed to make (from scratch) gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce.

Work on the house continued and we have some photos! It is an asymmetric semi, with a similar layout to our place: dining room on the right as you enter, stairs on the left (the second bathroom is under the stairs), with the lounge (on the right) and kitchen (on left) at the back. Upstairs there is the main bathroom under the eaves at the front, with three double bedrooms. The master bedroom is big, bigger than ours. And the third upstairs room is a double, not like at our place, where you can get a double in, but you clothes have to live somewhere else. Sunday was spent researching bathroom floorings, ripping up the bathroom carpet (why!?!), ripping up the laminate tiles beneath it, putting up bathroom fittings and putting together furniture. Luckily adam was well fed so he could put up with my theatrics over my broken finger and ankle and third degree burns etc…

The more neutral colour of the bathroom, but more importantly the toilet seat and bathroom carpet which are going and gone.
