We have had a lovely indian summer, sitting outside in tshirts on the weekends, wearing only light jackets when going out. the leaves have been changing very slowly and gradually. but then this week, daylight savings ended and sucked all the light and warmth with it. it dropped 10 degrees over night. heavy frosts killed our dahlias, and any uncovered vegetables. it got down to -5 at night. minus eight was about the coldest it got all last winter.
Since i got back we have been putting up a new fence, preparing the garden for spring, planting the spring bulbs, etc. well, to be fair, Adam has done most of it. but i planted the bulbs and painted the fence. we got 25 kilos of pumpkins off our vine, so if anyone as any good recipes please send them.
We have a few little adventures to keep us entertained between now and Christmas, but our big adventure is that we are coming back to Oz for a month in March. Yay, Oz. And yay Stu & Lauren for getting married (and congratulations!).
