precipitation probabilities

i suddenly realised: we leave in less than 24 hours and i haven't checked the weather forecast! shock horror. but you will all be glad to know we have a 30% probability of precipitation on christmas eve, and a 50% probability on christmas day! of course, there is no guarantee that it will be snow. but it will be suitably cold.
