Just another cold day in the UK. If it wasn't for the massive petrol explosion 50 miles away at Hemel Hampstead, Australia would of dominated the news today. Riots in Sydney, David Hicks getting British citizenship (kind of) and the guy who killed that backpacker got convicted today. But alas, these have all been secondary stories. I had been hoping to see someone I know in the footage from Cronulla, but the 3 second grab wasn't quite enough. Doesn't sound like much fun though. We leave the country and now everyone turns on each other. And just last week I was saying how much better we are than the UK or USA at race relations.
But we got our first statement from the place we have our offset loan at. In the 7 weeks to date we have saved about £90 on interest. That equates to the loan finishing 2 and a half years early-just goes to show the power of compound interest.
Booked Seymour in to get "the chop" today. Will happen after we get back from our xmas/new years trip to the USA. We are keen to avoid getting a litter of deformed kittens, and he looks a little bit more manish (if you know what I mean). Haven't told him yet-don't want to ruin his holiday. Seymour and Nibbler are going to stay at the local Cattery while we are away. I went and saw it, and was quite impressed. The get their own little chalet, which they will share. It will be their first introduction to other cats, and although they can see each other, they can't touch each other.
I have been home for the last 2 days with a stomach bug, and am getting a touch bored. But back to work tomorrow.

Not to Memphis this time unfortunately. We are heading to the North East - Boston, NYC, New Hampshire. For snow! So much snow!
