Life is returning to a new version of normal. We've had a big week of pub lunches, taking in the Perch, Trout & Victoria Arms, with walks along the Thames and around Godstow Nunnery, and a trip to Jamie's Italian restaurant. Gwen is a gastronomic baby already!
The cats have been coping well with the change. Seymour was quite jealous initially, but he is learning the new boundaries and has realised he can still jump on my lap whenever it is free. Both of them, but Nibbler especially, will come to Gwen when she cries. Seymour likes to 'help' with changing (i.e. get under foot - he isn't attempting to lick anything thankfully).
Dad has been taking morning adventures out to see the birdlife, and finding that we have snakes (he has seen 11 in two days - we didn't even know we had them in Oxfordshire). He is now suggesting bringing some home for the cats to play with.
