Last month A came over to the UK with her parents and her brother, so we met up in the Cotwolds for a day that included several poor attempts at following the signposted Cotswolds Way walking trail - we were chatting, we missed the signs and ended up wandering around peoples' farms. luckily it is England and people aren't too fussed by trespassers.
And then, after managing to find a nice pub for lunch, we went down to Bath in search of a cream tea, since A had pointed out that in Britain, land of tea drinkers, tea is always from a bag never loose leaves. But alas we were foiled again - too late for the pump house, no sign of the one I went to last year with Schmoo and Suz, and no other tea houses in sight. We settled on a cafe.
