And the journey begins...

I'm on the bus on the way to the airport for over five weeks of
football world cup in South Africa!!!

Weeeeeeee!

The excitement has been mounting for a while, and not just for those
of us with tickets (they didn't even mind at work when I ran around
with my vuvuzela app making strange noises). And now we are on our
way, already stripped of bling and wallet, for the 14 hour flight and
a 5+ hour drive on the way to meet John, Stu, Luke and Andy in Durban
for the first socceroo game tomorrow night.

I have decided to embrace the technology while I'm away, mostly so I
can work sadly, but it does mean I can blog regularly (photos wont be
too regular unfortunately, spelling mistakes will be). And I can
twitter (#ontheroadinza), because of people aren't interested in my
inane thoughts posted in 140 character chunks during this trip, then
they probably never will be.
