arachnophopia in liverpool

I went to Liverpool - for work, so very little sight seeing time, but we were staying opposite Penny Lane, and apparently the Beatles used to live just down the road.


But while I was there, there was a massive spider there too, as part of the European City of Culture celebrations in Liverpool this year. It was a huge mechanical spider that lived on a building for a few days then would come down and walk around. For videos of it see the BBC.
