Florence was full of bling and fur and shops where a bag cost more than the whole weekend (including shopping). We were staying 4 star (cheap package) but shopped at the markets. And shop we did. We had back pain by lunchtime from carrying all the leather goods and foods stuffs.

Me with a macchiato. mmmm. I rarely get them in the UK, so this was a highlight of the trip.

It had been quite cool on saturday, but sunday was sunny and warm. not quite warm enough to leave the coats behind, but warm enough to leave the jumpers, scarves, hats, gloves etc behind. Shops were shut on sunday, so we had a bit more wandering time.
And on Sunday afternoon, on the way to the airport, we went to Pisa and dragged our luggage across town to see the tower.
