The rest of the weekend was the usual: football, eating, gardening, washing, cleaning, etc. I had my walk - i got adam to drop me off at Aston Tirrold so i could see Blewburton hill, which is another old fort. As adam pointed out, every hill left in the thames valley was once a fort.
The warm weather continues, some might even day t-shirt weather. Although I am due a rude shock when i get to Edinburgh on Snday night, it is supposed to be 2 degrees! hello winter. And the most exciting news of all: Vanessa and I had a posh belated-birthday-dinner in London last night, and we saw sienna miller and rhys ifans. he was looking scruffy, buying something at a convenience store. she was tiny, talking on her mobile. the restaurant staff were excited, they were hanging out the front door gawking.
Kat, with hair long enough for a pony tail, at Wayland's smithy.
Adam contemplating the view of the power station, and the fact that they put big trig stations that look like monuments on top of historical sites.

A stile! this was the first time i had come across stiles in my local walks. there was also one with a little wooden bridge.
the funky house on the stream in east hagbourne, with the path in the middle of the stream.

To be honest I don't think I'd recognise Sienna Miller or Rhys Ifans, but I guess the restaurant staff helped by ogling them? It'S always funny (like the one or two times it's happened to me) when you see famous people and realise that they are shorter/fatter/daggier than you thought they'd be!
