it's a hard knock life for us

so we have made it to hamilton island. it is deliciously warm and sunny, so we have been filling our time with snorkelling and boating and swimming and cocktails. and all four combined.

we breakfasted with the koalas and I did the touristy thing and had my photo taken holding a koala - it has been 25 years since i last had it done.



the main hotel beach is pretty nice, although they appear to struggle to keep sand on it. the dark stuff isn't rock as much as concrete. but it is still lovely, and barely noticeable at high tide.
