Who would have thought that after such a lovely long indian summer, that there was any possibility that we would have a white christmas. But we, and by we I pretty much mean our town and only our town, have now had three days of heavy frost, fog and snow! There isn't much snow, mostly frozen fog, but we have had a bit, and it is sticking on the trees. Yay! The rest of the country is covered in fog, which is also kind of festive, unless you are trying to drive, fly etc.

Our own christmas tree

The crazy weather means there are plenty of berries and leaves still around to be covered in ice

Yeah well we very nearly had a white xmas ourselves in southern Victoria! It was freezing at Inverloch & there was snow on the Dandenongs & other highland areas. At the MCG it only reached 11 deg. but the adrenalin blotted out the hyothermia of summer tee shirts.
