Relative standards

Apparently we are having a heatwave. The definition of a heatwave in the south east of england: temperatures must reach 31C for two consecutive days, with night temperatures not below 16C. I believe Sydneysiders call that summer. Of course over here it does mean train tracks buckle, glass shatters, and school lets out at lunch. The hottest part of the day does tend to be around 3pm here, so it does make some sense.

The garden loves it. One shoot of the pumpkin vine has grown about 3 ft in 10 days.

At least Summer in Sydney has Air Conditioning, and awnings :)
It's 28 at the moment in Edinburgh and not that enjoyable.
