world cup starts today. yay.

And with england hooliganism on display in germany within minutes of the arrival, on the homefront england are worried about the increased power demand. what from i hear you ask? could it be everyone watching tv? all those stupid little beer fridges? the over use of the 'quick freeze' function? no. an increase in power demand is expected from everyone switching on their kettles at half time and full time to have a cuppa. tea, of course.

ahh, those crazy english. and it doesn't only happen during sporting events, it happens during eastenders.
