Sunday I got Monday on my mind

Sounds crazy, but it's true. Since moving, my concept of a working week has gone out the window. I end up spending 2 days a week at home half-working (reading etc) and then go in to work on the weekend (where I am now, waiting for a blot to transfer). This is all due to having to wait for deliveries/workmen etc. Last week it was the second fridge (from eBay, good condition, great value-I am the bargain hunter (tight arse)) on Monday and the plumbers on Thursday. The electrician is calling me on Monday sometime to arrange a visit ASAP to finish of the electric shower (why did we get the shower that needs a plumber and an electrician?), and the guest bed arrives on Tuesday afternoon. There just can't be that much more stuff to keep me at home after this week, and I would like to get the weekends back.

Speaking of bargain hunting, the cat equipment we got was the most expensive (£150 in the UK), but I found a German company that shipped the exact same thing to me for £50. Nibbler is also starting to get a bit more used to us now that she can't hide under the lounge.

Oh, the dishwasher is rusting everything. We thought we just had dodgy cutlery, so we took it back and got "good" stuff from a different shop. Now that is starting to rust after one cycle through the dishwasher. There is some crazy thing about putting special salt in the machines to soften the water, but we think someone put normal salt in the machine and damaged it (it came with the house-I didn't do it). Kat is in charge of fixing that one, while I continue my quest to put set a world record for the most assembled flat-pack furniture in a fortnight.

Word to the new Rambo and Rocky movies (look it up)
