What's up doc?

I have now graduated from UNSW!!! Nine and a half years after signing up, you can now call me doctor. The ceremony was lovely, or at least I assume it was as I did not go back to Sydney to attend it. I instead had a presentation to give at a conference in the UK. Not that I would of come back if I hadn't been busy. 24 hours is too long to travel just to get a bit of paper. Stuart was good enough to go and collect it from the student office for me the other day. Although he did origionally try to pick it up before I had graduated, which gave me a chuckle and taught me that Chinese whispers through Dad don't always work.

The aussie dollar is fighting back after a recent slump and is currently 0.426. Much better than 0.418 a week or so ago. We are now only about 3 weeks away from bringing the money over for our house, so now is when the rate really starts to matter. We signed the contracts and paid the deposit for the house on Tuesday. Now we only have to wait for the vendors to sign and then we are all locked in.

Kat's parents are here at the moment (maybe that was mentioned in another post-not sure). They are all off the Devon to see some relatives tomorrow. Once again I am left at home to fend for myself for the weekend. Good thing I know where KFC is. Maybe they will bring me back a sandwick for dinner on Sunday.

Word to the Dragons.
