Someone slap me

Yesterday started as a day like any other. I got up, had brekky and got dressed. I put my hand in my pocket and found I had washed some tissue with my pants. No big deal. I then noticed a heavier mass in my cargo pocket. Not the first time I had left a hanky in my pocket just to pull it out wet after washing. It was a wierd feeling hanky though. In fact, I quickly realised it was a paper based item. Oh what could it be. Wait for it..... Mussed up, pocket sized, dark on the outside, paper middle. Then the moment of recognition.....I had washed my passport!!! Why oh why did I wash my passport? And what oh what does it all mean?

After a day of drying, it is pretty stuffed. The ID page and VISA are still readable, but it's not in very good condition. I am currently on hold to the Australian High Commision trying to find out if I need to replace it. What a pain if I do. If I do, I'll need a new passport and then a new VISA. This isn't going to be quick. And I am supposed to be going to Germany in 4 weeks. Oh why am I an idiot???

I had taken the passport to London on the weekend incase I needed ID to get into the football ground. Kat and I went to see Spurs play Blackburn. The game was dull (0-0), but the atmosphere was great. We also ate Japanese (twice) and had dinner and a drink with Kat's cousin Nikky.

That's about it for now. Must go and put some music on before the hold music sends me insane.

Word to ya pappa.
