Well, the question was posed as to whether or not my brilliant Pizza Bread Loaf worked or not. To be honest, its a bit complicated. The bread maker broke the day I planned to make the loaf (did the bread maker know and kill itself?). So we got a new breadmaker. But I had eaten my pepperoni by then (shock) and keep forgetting to buy more (that is a non-sarcastic shock). So I gave it a go with mushrooms and tomatos. Technically, it didn't really work. It didn't rise and was a bit crap all round. But I had used the wrong yeast and added the wrong amount of flour (guess I'm not really kitchen friendly). The result was edible, but not the taste sensation I had hoped for. Once I get my courage up, it might be time for another go.
Kat was excited to see Chelsea win the league over the weekend, but disappointed to see them out of the Champion's League last night (hooray for Phil and any other Liverpool supporters). We have tickets to see Spurs take on Blackburn on the last day of the comp. At £52 a ticket, I am really expecting a positive result. We also have tickets for Oz vs New Zealand in soccer in London in June. Those tickets were a bit easier to get.
Our trip to London was OK. I just can't get into London. Big, ugly, smelly. Sure, you might expect me to feel an affinity to something so similar to myself, but alas there is no love. We did manage to get a decent Japanese meal, so that was a plus. Went to Camden Markets. Was way too crowded, and I am so out-off touch with the local slang that when guys tried to sell me drugs, the words they used were like another language. I did get a transformers T-shirt though.
And we have children (or as close as we get). Several lettuces and a couple of pea plants have sproated in our greenhouse. All very exciting (if you are a thousand years old like us).
Word to ya mamma.

And i'd just like to add that the weekend was a long weekend (1st May is a public holiday). And it was glorious, sunny, warm t-shirt weather for the whole weekend. Now there is something you don't get in Oz!
And the exhibition in London was great - mostly works the artists had done of the Thames.
